Based on the lute depicted in "The Ambassadors", painted in 1533 by Hans Holbein. String length 58 cm. Tuned in g’. 11 Ribs in maple. Neck veneered with boxwood, the pegs are stained boxwood.





6 course bass lute
Based on a anonymous painting from ca. 1540 (Flemish school). String length 72 cm. Tuned in d’. 9 Ribs in plum. Boxwood veneered neck.




7 course descant lute
After Wendelio Venere. String length 44 cm. Tuned in d’’. Yew 19 ribs.




8 course lute
After Wendilio Venere, 1592. Yew 25 ribs.
